ROAD MARKING DIVISION
The Road Marking Division deals with issues related to horizontal and vertical road markings. The Road Marking Division has an accredited laboratory where both laboratory and road tests are carried out. The experts of the Road Marking Division develop opinions, technical and forensic reports, participate in processes related to the certification of construction products and the development of national technical assessments. The Road Marking Division takes an active part in the development of technical regulations, cooperates with road administrations, road managers, manufacturers, contractors and other scientific bodies.
SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES:
- evaluation of technical parameters of horizontal road markings and vertical road signs on roads and streets of all technical classes – road and laboratory tests,
- evaluation of performance properties of materials for horizontal road marking on the test site,
- providing expert opinions and advice on site, supervision over the application of horizontal road marking,
- research and implementation work,
- elaboration of certificates, technical specifications, manuals,
- organization of technical training courses,
